Sierra's donor story

I have given blood for quite a few years now and have always tried to encourage other people to do so. We have a blood drive which comes through to Gisborne roughly 3 months at a time and really believe this is such a great cause. It only takes a few moments to gather the blood, I’m not afraid of needles, the biscuits are an added bonus and I enjoy knowing I’ve done my part to help people who are in need. Something I always keep in the back of my mind when donating is that you just never know when you or someone in your family may be on the receiving end and need blood!
