Joy has been a donor for over 30 years

I started giving over 30 years ago, my mother died of cancer and she had several blood transfusions, I felt this was a very easy way to give a little back, the Blood unit came to work in those days which made it so easy.
More recently the truck came to Pahiatua and I was able to convience a few more from work to donate, I think more people would but they just never get round to it and it only takes someone to say, "look I am off to give blood do you want to come with me". You do a wonderful job keep it up.
