Amazing Story

Angela's Story

DSC01797 Copy
How does an acupuncturist feel about having a needle put in her arm? ‘I’m absolutely fine with it!’ Angela laughs, as a nurse gets the donation started. Angela is a physiotherapist and is used to putting needles in her patients. She’s used to having needles put in her arm too, as this is her 50th donation.

Angela tells us that one of her patients was a biker who had been in an accident and needed blood transfusions. That brought it close to home what a difference blood donations make. And it’s why Angela says ‘you make the time, you make it work.’
