Sue's Story

Can you imagine life without your mum? How different your life would be? Sue can. Her mum haemorrhaged while giving birth to her sister and could have died without a blood transfusion. Without that blood transfusion, Sue’s life would have been completely different.

It’s a big motivation to give blood. Sue’s just donated for the 100th time. With each donation saving the lives of up to three people, who knows how many other baby girls’ mums are alive today because of her?

It is so important to Sue that she’s recruited her husband and son as blood donors too. It’s just another way for Sue to give back and pay it forward.
