A long time ago due to an accident I lost two litres of blood, nearly needing a transfusion.
Prior to that I used to donate blood occasionally but got busy and forgot about it.
Since moving to Wellington I began donating Plasma and, when requested, Platelets.
I fit it into my schedule as a work break, drink chocolate, eat yummy things and watch a movie!
The staff are amazing, working in such an essential area of the Health sector.
I guess I’m a lifer.
