Amazing Story
Tarsem helps his community
I remember my past when my father was suffering from kidney failure and every few weeks he need to have blood transfusion. Being the eldest son my blood was not matching with my father which makes me quite upset but my younger brother's does. So he used to give every now and then plus many youngsters in our locality came forward to help in times of need who had a matching group. As we know when kidneys stops working what happens.
I was so thankful to those great human beings who helped us at that time. It makes me realise that we have some duty towards our family, friends and towards our community too where we are leaving. So when I came to New Zealand I started going to Epsom Blood Donor Centre. If by giving a unit of blood to someone we can save someone's life in our community. That is really a great thing in itself. And we need to encourage people to come forward to donate blood. I think the staff there at Epsom Blood Centre are doing an amazing job.
