Melanie knows it's rewarding

I've been a blood donor for a few years and it's very rewarding knowing that I'm helping someone in need of a possibly lifesaving blood transfusion or something similar. It's vitally important that more New Zealanders sign up to donate as there are many different blood types out there (I'm an A+), plus it's an easy and relatively pain-free experience with caring and helpful nurses (as well as free bikkies and a hot drink!) to help get you through the process :)
