Sunil has never looked back

Back home in Fiji about 25 yrs back, my next door neighbor called in and said his mum is very critical in hospital and doctors will only operate if he manages to collect 3 pints of blood. I wasn't sure of my blood group at the time but without thinking we headed to hospital for donation.

Blood technician asked me if I knew my blood group...and the answer was "No, what's that?"

We went through a little process and some samples with the result showing that I had O+ group. Didn't know that I could be a universal donor. And yes I did donate that day for the first time and kind of felt like a hero knowing that my blood could save someone's life.

And that was it, never looked back and to date I am a regular donor and will be till I can
