Deb donates to help others

I am a motorbike rider and I began donating when I came across a motorbike accident and the rider was bleeding heaps...we are a fraternity, those of us who ride and I thought anyone who rides should be donating. I am also Maori and when I started donating back in 2000 there were very few Maori donors. I started with whole blood then platelets and now I do plasma...It doesn't take very long, the staff are wonderful and to be honest I enjoy the quiet time... time out from work.. time out from children... time to just be still and someone else benefits as well.
