What inspired Sam to donate regularly

Having had my first baby nephew of only a few weeks old be admitted to hospital with a condition even the doctors couldn't figure out for a extend period of time. Fortunately thanks to the blood donors he could receive all the blood products he needed to pull thorough. A total of 7 transfusions over only a couple weeks. At that point I knew that I wanted to donate plasma as a small thanks to everyone out there whose kind donations let my favourite little guy grow into an amazing little 2 year old with so much ahead of him.
