Ninan's story

I learnt about donating blood from my parents who were both in the medical field.
Back where I come from, I know that in case of emergency, many-a-times the doctors, nurses and the other medical staff present at that time donate their own blood in order to save a patient in need. They definitely go above and beyond their daily duties at the hospital.

I learnt that donating my blood was the greatest charity that I can do and it does not cost me a dime.

I have now been donating my blood regularly here in New Zealand and I hope someone, somewhere is benefited by this each time I donate. Thanks to NZ Blood for their services.
