Dennis's story

At the age of 19 I had a motorcycle accident in the Waikato, resulting in 2 broken arms and my right leg with compound fracture. Once at the hospital I received blood due to blood loss.

It is not until you need this service that it hits home how vital the need actually is.
I have been a donor for many years now and will continue as long as I can as I know this makes a difference to someone else, just like someone did for me all those years ago.
I would love to thank that person(s) who made the effort back then for such a small gift but huge benefit to me in my time of need.
