Jo's donor story

A friend of mine donated regularly, usually during his lunch hour. I often thought to myself “I could do that!” I don’t really like needles but it’s such an important and crucial thing to do that I decided to just give it a go! Everyone at NZ Blood is so friendly and totally put you at ease - you even get a hot chocolate / coffee and something to eat after!! My blood type is often used for prem babies so it always give me ‘warm fuzzies’ when I donate!! I’m so glad I decided to donate - you can too!!!
