Why Wendy donates

I began donating whole blood initially, until I was asked to donate Plasma.

Other than knowing that because I was able this is the right thing to do, in addition, two members of my own family have chronic health conditions (husband and daughter), and both have benefited hugely from the NZ health service over the years. Donating plasma as often as I can is a way I can give back with gratitude for the help they have received, and it's also fabulous to know that I am helping others.
