A+ student Jemma is a regular donor

Mairehau High School student Jemma made her first ever blood donation at the Christchurch Donor Centre in January 2016. A Positive blood type Jemma came back to donate a second time in August at our New Brighton mobile blood drive along with her friend Kodie. What motivates this young woman to donate? Jemma’s aunt works at NZ Blood Service in Dunedin and regularly posts about the importance of giving blood on social media. Jemma tells us that she always likes to help people out when she can, and that it’s a good feeling knowing that she can save someone’s life.
