Please make an appointment to donate blood. Book online or call us on 0800 GIVE BLOOD (0800 448 325). Note: Plasma donations are strictly by appointment only.

Parking Facilities and Public Transport

Car parks for donors are available on site. Take a ticket from the barrier arm as you enter the hospital grounds, which we will validate for you when you donate so your parking will be free. Place the validated ticket in the barrier arm when you exit the grounds.

Donor car parks are marked “Reserved Blood Donor Parking only”. To access them, come through Gate 12, turn left, and follow the road arrows to circle back up towards the Donor Centre. The car parks are by the fence.

  • The body will replace the fluids of the donated blood in just 24 hours. The red blood cells will be replaced in about 6 to 8 weeks. After 3 months, a person can choose to donate again.
