Christchurch Earthquake - No extra blood donors required
04 September 2010
Following from this morning’s earthquake in Christchurch, the New Zealand Blood Service will be monitoring the requirements for blood for the region. Currently the blood stocks are at good levels so there is no urgent need for blood donors at this time. The New Zealand Blood Service Blood Bank and Donor Centre are intact. Updates will be posted regularly if anything changes on this website and the NZBS Facebook Page, and the Christchurch Centre will be open for donors with applointments on Monday as usual.
