Medsafe
Medsafe - the New Zealand Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Authority - is a business unit of the Ministry of Health and is the authority responsible for the regulation of therapeutic products in New Zealand. Medsafe regulates by applying a framework that weighs up risks and benefits of medicines and medical devices, ensures there are therapeutic benefits and manages the potential risks associated with the use of the products.

CSL Biotherapies
CSL Biotherapies has been the national fractionator for Australia since 1952 and has been an essential partner with the Australian Red Cross Blood Service (ARCBS) working closely with both Federal and State Governments to meet the clinical demands of the Australian Community. New Zealand has a fractionation contract in place with CSL Biotherapies which ensures that it has its own plasma processed separately and receives the resultant products manufactured exclusively from its own voluntary donations.
